Colleen is a current member of the Kalamazoo, MI Chapter of USADance, Inc., formally the United States Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association (USABDA). For the past two years, she has been a board member for USABDA, as well as in charge of the Dancegiving Team. The Dancegiving Team is a group of volunteer ballroom dancers performing in area nursing homes, boys and girls clubs, and other related organizations as outreach to the community. She is also a member, in good dancing, with the Southwest Michigan Ballroom Dance Club (SWMBDC).

The classes Colleen offers are at a beginning/intermediate level. Material to be covered will be dance floor discipline and etiquette, lead/follow exercises, rhythm, and dance floor patterns using the basic steps in East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, West Coast Swing, Charleston, Waltz, Fox Trot, Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Tango, Merengue, Mambo/Salsa, Polka, Sosch, Hustle, Night Club Two Step Country Two Step, Bolero, beginning level line dances, dance mixers, and miscellaneous other dance related exercises.

The class size can vary from one on one private lessons for singles or couples, or group classes.

The goal is to bring Dance to Life affordably to anyone interested in giving ballroom/social dancing a try.  Lessons can be personalized for that special occasion, or giving people a quick basic lesson before the band starts, so everyone can feel comfortable on the floor bringing Dance to Life for them.  Since each person is an individual, Colleen strives to make everyone comfortable on the dance floor doing the basic steps, so they can enjoy their unique dance styles, and bring Dance to Life for them.
